Docker has become the essential technology for building/packaging our applications in images and running them in containers. Getting started with Docker has a small learning curve. Two years ago, I asked myself how I imagined the concepts of Docker: an image, a layer, a registry … and then I created a new way to explain Cloud technologies. In this talk, I will tell you a story; I will tell you my story. How, during two years, I explained Docker in sketch notes, in blog posts, videos, and in an illustrated book (with all the concepts, including Docker compose and extensions) and why I continue to do it.
