The Moby Project is a ubiquitous open source project, and has like many projects before it transitioned from new and exciting to background infrastructure. In this talk, we revisit the history of the Moby Project (and Docker Inc. open source), look at how it has changed over the years, and how it fits into the evolving cloud-native landscape. We will also discuss current work and challenges in the product, recent developments and new features, new contributors (and how you can become one), and future work/ambitions contributors have for the project.
